At the How to Train Your Dragon Book Study, we’ll follow the humorous and action-packed journey of Hiccup, an unlikely Viking hero who proves that brains, heart, and courage can be just as powerful as strength. Each week, students will read selected chapters at home, then come together to discuss important themes and dive into creative activities like designing their own dragons, learning Viking terminology, and crafting their own “How to Train Your Dragon” guide.
As we explore Hiccup’s path from misfit to leader, students will reflect on ideas like courage, leadership, and what it means to be a true hero. This 6-week study is for ages 10–13 and costs $95. Books can be purchased through Foundations or borrowed/purchased on your own.
Max capacity: 10
